Nothing's Too Hard for God

September is here.  This month marks our 9th year as pastors of Grace Assembly.  Praise the Lord!

So far, 2009 has been a season of change.  When Bill Walrath passed away, the church lost a musician, a board member, and we lost a friend and brother.  Gail has moved to Colorado now and her address is available through our online directory.

Last month, Sam and Mary Jonguitud moved to Prescott, so the church is without it's main sound man, a board member, Sunday school teacher and a dear couple that I am sure will be a blessing to some church in Prescott.

There have been other changes, but I want to say we are not discouraged by these circumstances, and that we are excited about what the Lord is doing now. God is faithful!  There are many new faces in the church and lives are being transformed. Last Sunday, (Aug. 30) 7 People re-dedicated their lives to Christ and 20 of our youth helped me pray during alter time - it was amazing!

Nine years and counting.  Sherry and I anticipate many more years of ministry in Parker.  Let us keep our eyes on the goal set before us and finish the race.

Fire struck Joyce Curren's house on Sunday Aug. 16.  No person or animal was injured, but the house was totally burned.  A fund has been established to help Joyce at the National Bank or Arizona.  The church will also accept donations on her behalf.

Kid's Crusade 2009 saw about 50 kids per night join us at Grace Assembly for a great time.  Many were saved, re-dedicated and filled.
